What is mentoring?
Mentoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be.
At BVEDS, we can provide a veterinary mentor to support people from marginalized backgrounds to help their growth, learning, and career development. We can act as role models and sounding boards and provide guidance to help them reach their goals.
Who is it for?
For any pre vet student or veterinary student from a marginalized background who would like some support.
What can you learn from it?
We can provide 1 on 1 support to help on advice such as applying to vet school, adapting to university life and support on your veterinary studies during your course
